Southeast Asia has numerous destinations for retirement and tourism purposes, but I’m going to focus on the three that are most often considered by retirees – Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Note that other ASEAN countries have retirement VISA options as well, but these three (especially Philippines and Thailand) tend to be the most bang for the buck. With time I’ll add other countries I’ve been considering, with a complete breakdown of what qualifications you need for each country and VISA.
